The Redwood

The Redwood is a Toronto-based shelter providing safe housing, counselling, and advocacy for women, children, and gender-diverse people fleeing abuse. It developed the Safety Assessment Risk Management (SARM) model, which has been presented internationally and is used to assess lethality risk in DV cases. Programming includes long-term housing support, children's counselling, and community education.
